Barry Knain

Hello, my name is Barry, I’m an event and portrait photographer based in the Raleigh, North Carolina and I would like to thank you for visiting my site.

I like to keep my photography as close to reality as possible, but I also like bending reality for the right project. As a wedding portrait photographer, my goal is to capture the essence of who you are by capturing you naturally, without trying to attempt to pose you into someone who I think you should be. I’d rather wait for the moment, than to make the moment. As a portrait photographer, I do my best to change the scene as little as possible, but I may help the light along in a given situation.

My main aspiration in photography is to capture emotion and sometimes that needs to push the boundaries. Every person is a unique individual; it is my goal to use my style to seize your personality and evoke feeling. When a client is wanting a session that is outside the traditional box, I am thrilled at the opportunity to bend reality with Photoshop.
